Boats and fishing Hassan has two rowing boats he has made out
of recycled wood and corrugated iron, like many of the other
fishermen around the lake. He also has one with a small outboard motor and fishing gear to hire, the services of a rowing boat and
rower is £3 per hour.
Kayaks
We have kayaks available for hire from the gite.
These are the new sit on kayaks, suitable for pleasure or fishing.
Kayaks will accommodate one child and one adult.
Buoyancy aids will be issued with each kayak for your safety and peace of mind.

Kite boarding
Introducing the popular kite boarding sport. at Essaouira
mainy proffesionals travel for the kite boarding and windsurfing events at Essaouira, however you do not have to be a proffesional to enjoy this sport, full training is given by qualified instructors. Essaouira also known as the windy city, has a large beach, but here you do not have to dodge the jet skis, motor sports are not allowed, the emphasis is making use of the natural elements, here wind.
Accomodation at Essaouira is either apartments or Riads,
further sports include horse riding and camel trekking.
The old town is a maze of alleys where the local craftsmen
make wooden items, from trinket boxes to furniture, the main wood used is Thuya. |
