Caves, Caving & Wildlife
There are several sites boasting caves in the local province.
Bin El Ouidane
At the lake there are areas with caves. To the right of the lake nearest the gite, there are caves set into the side of a gorge where fresh water turtles can be seen basking in the sun. At the furthest end of the lake there are caves where black eagles nest.
Cascades D'Ouzoud
Here you can explore caves that dot the local hillside and follow the river. Take a trek downstream, to the mexican village, despite the name, this is a small Moroccan village,
inhabited by Berbers. The houses are joined by semi-underground tunnels. Guides will take you on the trek, making your holiday in Morocco, even more memerable. |
