Review of copper jewelry workshop

I attended the metal stamped copper jewellery workshop held at the Crafters Cwtch on February 9th.

The content of this workshop was excellent, Pixiejools are a very talented couple and both their tuition in using the various tools and explanation of the construction of the Jewelry was most professional. As a complete beginner at this craft, I found their instructions easy to follow, and was amazed how we could turn a heap of old copper pipes into the most fantastic jewellery, in the time given. I cant wait to attend another workshop tutored by them at a future date.

Our setup in Newport memorial hall on Saturday, a good  turn out and we lots of encouraging remarks, and we also sold a reasonable amount of jewellery.

The girls sold a guitar and a claranet so they were happy.

Another first, Fork Earring stand

A suggestion from a customer could you not make an earring stand out of a fork, Half an hour of playing with shapes and I came up with a solution, The photos to the left were taken before the forks were polished., but should give a good impression of what i s to be produced.
